Former Chiefs Invited To Cardinals Spring Training

On Friday the Cardinals announced their 2018 Spring Training Non-Roster invitees and that list includes 10 former Chiefs players. Keep in mind there are also 15 former Chiefs on the Cardinals 40-man roster so the Grapefruit League games will be full of former Chiefs next month.

Also on a non-Cardinals note, 2007 Chiefs SS Darwin Barney signed a Minor League deal with the Texas Rangers on Monday and will be invited to Spring Training. A Gold Glove winner in 2012, Barney has played in the Majors with the Cubs, Dodgers and Blue Jays over the last eight seasons.
